At the sacred hall of Bishamon lanterns are hung up and shine on their surroundings. It is a solemn
time, when the mind is immersed in holy thought. Outside the temple, the lights shine on cherry trees
in full bloom; and the spirit of the blossom seems to be converted to Bishamon.
